The real stories behind the scenery of America’s national parks. For 12 years, Andrea Lankford lived in the biggest, most impressive national parks in the world, working a job she loved. She chaperoned baby sea turtles on their journey to sea. She pursued bad guys on her galloping patrol horse. She jumped into rescue helicopters bound for the heart of the Grand Canyon. She won arguments with bears. She slept with a few too many rattlesnakes. Hell yeah, it was the best job in the world! Fortunately, Andrea survived it.

The “mountain men” were the hunters and trappers who fiercely strode the Rocky Mountains in the early to mid-1800s. They braved the elements in search of the skins of beavers and other wild animals, to sell or barter for goods. The lifestyle of the mountain men could be harsh, existing as they did among animals, and spending most of their days and nights living and camping out in the great unexplored wilds of the Rockies.

Worth Packing Just for the Planning Power
As a guy who usually just wings it on trips, this book totally shifted how I approach city travel. Denver felt manageable—even exciting—before I even got there. The layout made it easy to find things that matched my interests without being overwhelmed. I appreciated the mix of cultural spots, low-key food recs, and practical tips. If you're heading to Denver, this is one resource that actually helps.

Denver sounds like the place to go visit.
Denver Dossier is an incredible travel guide recounting the history, backstory, food, attractions, and a hundred other unique things about Denver. This is a well-researched and detailed audiobook that regales the beauty and festivities of a great City. My favorite part is the rocky mountain oysters, (not really oysters at all). The incredible lengths that it took to restore the downtown into a historic monument of artisans, craftsmen, and food galore. The money it took to restore the city to its original opulent appearance with genuine stone, and perfection.

Great guide to seeing Denver
I lived in Denver for 20+ years, and I can say this is a great guide to help you see the best of Denver. It's got all the great spots and some history, and it will help you decide if Denver is the best place for your next vacation. The Mile High is a pretty amazing place with amazing people, and I would recommend that if you have the chance, go check it out. Use this guide to pick and choose what you would want to see and do.
