About this listen

The former president admires people like Putin, Xi Jinping, and other dictators; he expected that he would join the group as a dictator, but America is a democratic country admired around the world and is far from a dictatorship.

The United States government is divided into three branches: the legislative, executive, and judicial. Focusing on the legislative branch, it is telling of the shape of this country when 90 percent of the Republicans who are members of the government are supporting an ex-president who continues to live in la-la land by propagating the myth that the election was stolen. He tried all types of ways to negate a Biden win by calling on Georgia to produce ‘’out of hat’’ 1100 votes.

His efforts were to no avail, and the investigations further proved that the election was concrete. The president and his coconspirators decided that they would deny the people’s will and continue to have a Trump presidency. His denial of the election results caused the events on January 6. The participants of the insurrection heard Trump’s call, which activated them to go to the capital that day.

Although an investigation was warranted into these events, it remains ongoing and is a waste of taxpayers’ money. Attorney General Barr stated that the election was fair and no fraud. Mitch McConnel and Kevin McCarthy said that ex-president Trump was responsible for the insurrection. The American people should be aware that this was just a dress rehearsal. If such events are repeated, the outcomes could be far worse. Some members of Congress are aiding and abetting the ex-president in continuing the lies; their constitution is being hurt.
