About this listen

It’s the perfect wedding: tropical sunshine, glamorous guests, a beautiful bride and a handsome Hollywood millionaire. But the day is about to take a shocking turn. Lisa Costello has all the expensive clothes and exotic vacations that come with dating a rich man. But her relationship with Josh Steen is a sham. Yet nothing could have prepared Lisa for the morning after their decadent wedding in Thailand. Josh is dead – and it looks like Lisa killed him.

As Lisa escapes, ex-FBI trainee turned journalist Sam Murray is on her trail. Suspecting a set-up, both Lisa and Sam face a race against time to uncover who’s really behind the hit. With a professional assassin moving in for the kill, the clock is ticking fast…

Would you listen to Desire again? Why?

Yes I will because it was a book I could not put down, a bit different to the usual stories from Louise Bagshawe. I was not really sure about it in the firat chapter as I thought it may not be my kind of book however once into it I loved it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lisa because she was likeable and the narrator had her exactly right.

What does Penelope Freeman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The whole feel of the story would not have been as good.

Any additional comments?

A fantastic read as usual by Louise Bagshawe I buy anything available from her and never been let down.
