Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Now, a thousand years later, the resources needed to sustain life are running out, and the very existence of the Mars colony is threatened. Humankind has only one option–to return to its home planet.

Why have I never heard from this author before
What made the experience of listening to Destination Earth: Rise of The Da Vinci the most enjoyable?
The plot lots of action
What did you like best about this story?
The way the main character grew up seemingly before our eyes. Started as a boy and by the end was a brilliant ass kicking man
What aspect of Barry Abrams’s performance would you have changed?
seems to struggle with consistancy when it comes to different voices
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me laugh, cry and almost piss myself, I had to decompress emotionally when I finished listening
Any additional comments?
Awesome work sir, thank you for excellent read, when I purchased this book I was expecting mediocre distraction instead I listen to a book that continues to haunt me long after I read it.

Hidden Gem....Must read for Sci-fi Fans!
Where does Destination Earth: Rise of The Da Vinci rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I have listened to about 30-40 audio books in my life, and this one easily ranks as one of, if not the best. Between the story and voice acting, I was hooked from the first chapter.
What did you like best about this story?
The pacing was something I really enjoyed. Some books I have listened to in the past seem to drone on without any real sense of direction. This one stayed on point and kept me interested from the first chapter to the last.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I listened to this book in two sittings, which is the fastest I have ever done an audio book. I kept telling myself, one more chapter, then I'll go to bed, and then I found myself listening to three or more. I was almost sad when I was finished with the book. I can't wait for the next one in the series.

Implausible, Poorly Crafted Story
This is a fine listen if you are willing to suspend all belief, not question the reality created, and like everything one dimensional. There are just so many things that distract. I cannot recommend this one.

Narration quite sub par
Feels like being read to by a kindergarten teacher, and you are forced into ultra enunciation of each word. Painful.
My mind was on the bad narration rather than the story.
