Fun and Engaging

My 4 and 10 year old girls and my 10 year old boy all love this story, which "isn't scary at all." The narrator was the perfect choice, between her British accent (the story takes place in post WWII England), and her willingness to assume the voices of a full spectrum of characters.

I loved this book as a kid

It's still so charming as an adult. I listen to it all the time and the narrator does a great job.

The best narrated story!

Incredible narration—so many different voices and accents!!! The story is great—dripping, bizarre, unexpected. My 8 and 11
Year olds LOVED it on our car ride.
