Effective Christian leaders are disciples first and foremost and develop as leaders based on this. I have combined discipleship and leadership because discipleship is the basis for effective Christian leadership. Effective leadership involves both “being” and “doing.” Who we are and who we are becoming is critical for our effectiveness in how we go about influencing others and the impact of our influence on them.

Discipleship and Leadership is an introduction to the dynamics and integration of discipleship and leadership as it relates to character, competency, and calling.
