"Discipline" is a great book. It's fast-moving, simple, straightforward, but manage to compress considerable information in a very few words. Yet it's far from just information. There's also encouragement and coaxing and maybe even some light scolding by way of his challenge to do more. The author's personal story and his obvious devotion to and gratitude for those around him -- in particular his wife and parents -- are as much a part of the content as the nuts and bolts observations about whether a drain meets code. Some writers give lip service to that gratitude and some really mean it, but most fall short of expressing it with the compelling earnestness of this author.

Daniel Penz' narration gets the tone -- sometimes urgent, sometimes light-hearted, always sincere. The rhythm of his reading is almost musical. This is among the better performances among the couple hundred in my Audible library.

This is the most relatable success journey / motivational book I’ve read (and I’ve read a lot of them). After finishing the book, I instantly had more clarity, motivation and yes, discipline. Often, when I read these types of books I find that they lack in conciseness. I didn’t feel that at all with this one! It kept my attention the entire time and had a direct and clear message. I highly recommend taking the time to listen to this one!

Very well done!
