About this listen
Jenna Cameron has sacrificed much for her career as an architect, particularly when it comes to love. But when the collapse of a building sends her back to 14th century Scotland, the brawny highlander who finds her changes all that—almost in an instant.

Not only does the lass bear the same baffling tattoos as he and his men, but a powerful attraction binds him to her for reasons he cannot comprehend. But as Jenna and Domnall search for any clue that could help, one of the oldest and grimmest of all Celtic legends is about to find them.

Computer voice ruins every good story. The intonation, time and pronunciation wreck the books . Not just this one
All emotion sounds like an excited 14 year old girl with every sentence ending on and excited upswing . Ruins the story. Please don’t us A I

Virtual voice is horrible!
The story would have been much more enjoyable with actor narration. Virtual voice was unable to adjust to the necessary pronunciations as author intended and came across robotic and lifeless. No distinction between characters in the story. Virtual voice a made it difficult to get lost in the story when you have to decipher what is being said and how the author intended a character to sound. Please go back to using LIVE narrators!

virtual voice ruined this story
no inflection, no difference in male and female characters just rote reading. I zoned out so frequently and kept rewinding. If I had not listened to the previous series that came before this one, I wouldn't have even finished it. It was so hard to follow I'm not sure I even understand what is happening in the story. I will continue to try to finish the series but only because it's in the plus catalog and I'm so invested in the story line. I certainly wouldn't pay for it.

Awful narration
Narration was awful. No inflection. Story got very confusing half way through and hard to follow. Don’t think I can stomach the rest of the series.

Love the stories, don't care for the narration
One of the things I liked about the Hazel Hunter stories is the voices. In the previous series, I had a chance to fall in love with the characters, enjoying the women and swooning at the men's voices. The monotone of the reading, and the attempt at Scottish inflection made me cringe. I know AI is coming, but it's not the time yet for audiobooks. I can read the books and get more emotion out of them. AI was flat, her attempt at some Scottish brogue failed, and I caught a couple of mispronunciations. As much as I like her stories, I don't know if I want to invest in being read to by a machine.

Virtual voice sucks
I had downloaded the series and ended up deleting them all because of virtual voice. The storyline could be good but I can’t tell because there is no change in character voices, no inflection, no tone etc. horrible.
