About this listen
When Donna Turner and her two girlfriends leave Alabama for California, Donna runs out of money. Her girlfriends continue their journey, leaving Donna in Needles, California, to work in a diner.
Donna worshipped the ground Tommy Crowley walked on when she was fifteen, and now he shows up at the diner where she works. Will he remember her and still think of her as her brother’s skinny kid sister?
Tommy Crowley is an architect driving to California to join his uncle’s company. The mature Donna’s beauty and courage appeal to Tommy, and he offers her a ride to Los Angeles, where she can join her friends.
Donna decides Tommy has no reason to give her a second glance, but only pities her. Will Donna have enough confidence to accept Tommy’s offer of a ride and something more than friendship?

If you have insomnia this could be your cure.
The narration was dull, monotone and lifeless. The story was predictable at best. Overall, it was a waste of time.
