About this listen

I’ve lived an eternity. I’ve killed thousands. Destroyed worlds.

I thought I’d seen everything. I didn’t think there was anything left in the galaxy that could surprise me.

Then I met her. Lani Dennison. A human woman. My mate.

My mission was simple. Find Lani Dennison.

Zorahan scientists tortured her. I killed them, of course.

Okaki pirates abducted her. I tracked them down and infiltrated their ship. Routine stuff. Nothing that presented a problem to a trained soldier that could shift into a fire-breathing dragon.

I expected her to be smart. You’d have to be, to survive the Okaki pirates.

I didn’t expect her to be lovely.

I didn’t expect her to make me laugh.

And I definitely didn’t expect her to be the one woman I was destined to be with, the missing piece of my soul. My mate.

Now what?

One of the best so far

This book was better all around. Well balanced with the story, romance and sex. much better production (not perfect tho, still a few repeats).

would recommend. I will likely skip book 3 since Misty Dawn is replaced with Natasha Lawless and I just can't stand her voice/narration. I'm hoping Misty is back for the 4th book when it comes to Audible.

More Draekon!

I really liked Kadir, but I love Ruhan! Lani is his perfect mate, I thoroughly enjoyed this couple. So far, this is my favorite book in the series. I sure hope the rest can live up to the promise of this one. Lots of action to go with their scorching chemistry. I found the plot unique and refreshing. The narrators are good and they seem to step up their performance in this book.💖💖💖💖💖

Book with substance

This book had an interesting storyline; there was less hot and steamy sex than previous books written by these authors. It addressed the characters more than sex; wasn’t pure porn as suggested. The sudden assumption made by Lani was a bit much, but all-in-all, the book was pretty good. Narrators did a good job with characters, no noticeable repeating of sentences.

Outstanding

Instead of the so ordinarily boy meets girl then the only obstacle is does he or does he not love me. Here is an intriguing ,complicated story line with lots of action and adventure. I like reading a story where you’re never sure what will happen next.

Wonderful story really enjoyed it . I didn't necessarily enjoy the male narrator too much though

pure porn not my cup of tea

I didn't like how it was narrated.
I think the way they did it was childish.

Story good female narration horrible

Why oh why when you have a female and a male narrator, why do you have the female do the male and the female. Why don't you have the female do the female and the male do the male. Horrible choice to have the female do both. Actually the male narrator did a better job doing both the female and the male. Just have a female narrator do the female and the male to the male's part. This book and the whole series was a big disappointment.

Repeat of book 1

well what to say? it's basically a repeat of book one but it just drags on longer and i love they have two narrator's but it's still like only having one as the male does the female in his chapter and the female does the male in hers, so what we have is a female sounding like she is constipated and the male sounding like he is talking to himself as he makes 0 effort to even try to sound like a female while reading her lines. over all i skipped the last half it's the same as book 1, find the human woman mate the human woman.
