About this listen

Running is not an option.

Desperation and anger are constant companions in Marshall’s life now. He is in love more passionately than he thought possible, and his love is at risk. His mate, the woman of his dreams, is carrying his child, and they are in danger from a gang of Griffins.

Harper is stuck in an endless cycle of emotional and physical abuse. She clings to the hope of all of the promises for a family Marshall declares daily. However, as her abuser, the leader of the Griffins, keeps her trapped, she begins to worry those promises will never come true.

Marshall and Harper feel the time they have is running out.
The Griffins run a tight gang.
Retrieving Harper quietly isn’t an option.

If Marshall doesn’t get Harper soon, he’ll declare pack war between the Griffins and Dragons.

Short, but good

This was a nice story with a HEA. The narrator did a good job! There is domestic abuse in the story of that is a trigger for you.

Marshall's obsession

This was difficult to listen to because of all the violence and abuse. It made me feel sick everytime the abuses occurred (frequently). Thankfully it ended with a hea. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Okay book

This was not my favorite of the four in the series however it was still good. I’m not a fan of abuse so I found parts a bit difficult. Overall it fits in well with the series and the dragons’ protective natures as described by Ms. Wilson.
