About this listen

The dragon lunged and burned. Ketil felt its hot breath, but he knew it was only a dream. When Sigrid goes to stay on Shapinsay, Ketil is unconcerned – nothing ever happens on Shapinsay. But then the fires start, and it seems that Ketil’s dream has come to life. Will he and Sigrid find the arsonist, before a whole settlement is wiped out forever?

An historical tale well told

Conyngham's historical mysteries are always a delight, and this is no exception. Bjorklund reads that Norse names well, although many sentences lose their impact through poor vocal phrasing and emphasis. On the whole I prefer the Kindle edition, but not so much that I haven't bought all three of this series on Audible as well.
