Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

A Thought-Provoking Approach
This audiobook offered a refreshing take on dream interpretation, moving beyond simple symbol dictionaries to encourage personal reflection and exploration. I appreciated the author's incorporation of scientific, spiritual, and cultural perspectives, which added depth and nuance to the discussion. The exploration of personal experiences as a key to understanding dream symbolism was particularly insightful. While I found some sections a bit abstract, the overall approach encouraged a more mindful and personalized approach to dream analysis. It's a good starting point for those seeking a more holistic understanding of their dreams.

Finding Meaning in My Dreams
I always had weird dreams. I did not know what they meant. I felt like they were trying to tell me something. I wanted to understand them. I found this book. It talked about dreams. It said dreams can show us things. I hoped it could help me.
The part about brain waves was interesting. It showed how our brains make dreams. It made me think about my dreams. I have dreams that repeat. I now wonder about the brain waves when that happens. I try to remember what the dream felt like. I try to see if it means something. I think this book helps me look at my dreams in a new way.
I liked listening to this book before bed. The narrator's voice was calm. It helped me feel relaxed. It was easy to listen to. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
