Story
Seventeen-year-old spirit medium Emily Chambers has a problem. Actually, she has several. As if seeing dead people isn’t a big enough social disadvantage, she also has to contend with an escaped demon and a handsome ghost with a secret past. And then there’s the question of her parentage. Being born an entire year after her father’s death (yes, a year), Emily is as much a mystery as the dead boy assigned to her.

Story
"I am a survivor of horrific physical and mental abuse inflicted on me by the one person in my life that was supposed to love and protect me and teach me right from wrong.... My journey to overcome my childhood demons was difficult and painful; but in the end, I realized that my past is what it is and it was up to me to decide my future. I realized that I needed to tell the rest of my story and show everyone what I endured to finally be able to sit back and say, 'It is what it is.'"

Story
The girls at Modesta High School feel like they're stuck in some anti-feminist time warp - they're faced with sexism at every turn, and they've had enough. Sponsored by their new art teacher, Ms. Stark, they form the Daughters of Eve. It's more than a school club - it's a secret society, a sisterhood. At first, it seems like they are actually changing the way guys at school treat them. But Ms. Stark urges them to take more vindictive action, and it starts to feel more like revenge- brutal revenge. Blinded by their oath of loyalty, the Daughters of Eve become instruments of vengeance.

Book Six is great addition and could mean trouble for Sara
This newest audiobook version of this series is a great addition to the series. Elizabeth Klett is the newest narrator for this series and doesn't miss a beat. Having listened to all the audio versions of this series Elizabeth has the sound of Sara and her friends and family down as if she has been the narrator from book one. This book takes us deeper into the mental frustration Sara has with her dreams and seeing things she doesn't want to see. Sara has come to grips with her gift and even sees it as a responsibility. If she is shown something she must attempt to resolve the issue that is brought to her attention. Thank God she doesn't see every little issue in peoples life or she would be crazy. But the universe gives her things she can do something about. Knowing that this is not a unique gift and that it can be used for good or evil brings an edge to the stories that are different from normal dream stories. Sara must decide how far she is willing to take her abilities. Just because she can do something doesn't mean she should. This and other issues make this book a true Dream Series classic and really shows the insight the author J.J. DiBenedetto has for this genre.
