Publisher's summary

If life is but a dream, to what do we awake?

The central premise of this book is the admittedly ridiculous but incontrovertibly true assertion that the universe does not exist.

This is something you can understand conceptually, like watching a documentary about Antarctica, or experientially, like moving to Antarctica.

There's also a related phenomenon where you fall asleep watching the documentary and wake up in the frozen wasteland.

That's gotta be weird, but the truth is that you're asleep in the wasteland dreaming that you're not, so that's where waking up gets you.

Back to Life Back to Reality

One eye, open it, and see I am. Make every moment with intent and laser focus. Don't try to convince any one about I am. It is a quest only you can wake up to, and not invite others. Reading this shit means you fuck with it.

This is a trip you want to take ;)

What do you desire? What kind of life do you want? Maybe this life - this journey is EXACTLY what "you" wanted all along. Maybe you realize that reading this work of art... maybe not ;)

???

I really liked listening to this audio book. at times it was basically white noise. Most of the book made you think outside of the box and the Alice in wonderland parts were very entertaining. I noticed that in the beginning chapters he stated that there was no God and then I felt like he proceeded to talk about God for the rest of the book in some way shape or form. I especially liked the small chapters that were just thought patterns he really nailed the way most minds think and kind of wander off into segments of ridiculousness. all in all, I am looking forward to listening to a new Jed book as soon as it's available.

great insight

I enjoyed this book. The blend of storytelling, first person historical insight all blended well. The little truths of life are litered throughout also. If you dig deep enough in any theological study you can find many of the things spoken of in this book.

The narrator was very enjoyable also. He seemed not only skilled in storytelling but also in the subject himself.

Hadn't read Jed (poetic) in quite a few years but his words have a way of restarting my seek engines. Audible needs to make all his work available

Entertainment value = high . And that’s all that really exists .

Part of me fucking hates this book . It’s the part of me that wants to believe I have a mission on this earth and that I matter . If you want to be happy in life don’t read this book . There really is no going back , because you’re taking the red pill . Focus and intent are now my weapons to take more red pills , then more , until my all my brain tissue is dead . Enjoi !

Jed. What can ya say?

Highly entertaining, and thought provoking. Great performance. Hope they make more. I’m not sure who Jed McKenna is, but I like his style. Hope you do too!
