In Search of a Soul Mate: A Hypnotic Journey Beyond Time - An Unforgettable Audiobook Experience
Have you ever searched for something, only to realize you didn't know what you were looking for? Have you found your soul mate? Do you even believe in soul mates? These questions and more lie at the heart of the first in this three-part series audiobook offering.
A Birthday Gift That Changes Everything: Our protagonist, Sarah, finds her life in Hollywood upended after receiving an unusual birthday gift: a series of past-life regression hypnosis sessions. What starts as a simple curiosity unfolds into a journey she never expected, one that challenges her understanding of herself and her never-ending quest for true romantic love with her lifetime soulmate.
A Journey Through Past Lives: Sarah's hypnotic regressions reveal startling insights about her past lives, drawing her deeper and deeper into her love affair with Thoun. Each session causes her to fall deeper and deeper in love with Thoun, even though he may only be in her imagination.
Hollywood Dreams Questioned: Thrust into this unexpected voyage of her past lives, Sarah continues to date, but no one comes close to presenting the type of interaction and love she once had with Thoun, although there is still Billy who she just can't seem to quit.
The Quest for True Connection: As Sarah grapples with these revelations of the love she is meant to have on this earth plane, she is confronted with the question: has she been in the wrong place all along? The search for her soul mate becomes more than a silly romantic quest; it's a quest for her life which surely depends on her finding Thoun again.
Embark on This Hypnotic Auditory Odyssey: This audiobook is more than a story; it's an experience that will resonate with anyone who has ever pondered their place in the world or the existence of soul mates. With each chapter, you'll be drawn deeper in, and you may even find yourself being hypnotized a little bit.

Story
Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. But the renewed interest in Dot also surfaced chatter about a mysterious past scandal.

Eight years ago I fell into a secret summer fling with my best friend’s little sister before our lives went in different directions. Now, I’m the grumpy to Juliet’s sunshine on a popular dating podcast we host, and when a wealthy fan gives us a charming coastal cottage as the biggest thank you ever, we head to the town where I grew up to give it a makeover. Story
Gabriel Ferrara is tall and handsome, and most days she wants to stab her eyes out with a pencil, anything to stop her seeing his perfection. How any female could work in these conditions and not be completely besotted with him is beyond her. Then he opens his mouth and she remembers why. He's bossy and sarcastic, with a wit so sharp it could cut glass. Every weekend is the same . . . while he's off living his dream life, she's counting down the days until Monday when she sees him again.

A sweet tale of one seeking peace and belonging.
A delicate piece capturing the "what if" and "is there more" cries of heartache for a woman in the city of angels. Cavanaugh is descriptive and wistful in her portrayal of Sarah as she unravels an ethereal nest of past lives in her search for life's purpose and romance. A chance birthday gift sends her on a personal quest to seek happiness and a higher plane of existence. An enchanting story shimmering with hope and potential.

Good listening
The world the author built takes a moment to settle into, but the story becomes cohesive woth the background provided. The narrator does well at giving the characters individual personalities and voices during the reading. looking forward to the next book.

Sara needs better friends.
Chad is a very good reader!
The book started out well and kept my interest up until parts of the story were bogged down with unnecessary fillers (overly descriptive with lobby/ office and Sara's wardrobe choices). Also, some chapters were repetitive, telling the same story of Sara's past life in Lumeria and her soulmate many, many times. I was tempted to tap out, but Chad's vocal talent helped get me through the last few chapters of this book.
