About this listen

In the fourth book of the Cap’s Place series, Patty Johnson asks South Florida bar owner Jack Nolan to utilize his experience as a former prosecuting attorney to assist her investigation into the ten year old conviction of a condemned murdered. In spite of his skepticism of the man’s innocence, Jack agrees to assist. Many people, in the dying Florida town that was the scene of the crime, doubt the man’s guilt, but unseen forces thwart the investigation as the execution date rapidly approaches. Robotic narration made this hard to listen to

The narrator is just reading words without even seeming to think / understand the story. Emphasis is wrong on many words or sentences headed (Daytona 500 is separated and read like 2 sentences instead of an entity. Or sometimes PJ is read with emphasis on the P and others on the J). And the narration is rushed with no emotion or variation. I am so distracted that I am having a hard time following the story. I am convinced this is an AI narration. And it is so bad I had to warn others.
