Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. Scottish time loop
Toni Goode is a new author for me, and one I am looking forward to more stories from. I really like paranormal and time travel type stories. Toni did an excellent job with this one. I loved the narration! I think it enhanced the story. Duncan is stuck in a time loop, finding and then losing his love. I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving my review.

I enjoyed this one!
Toni Goode's "Duncan" really surprised me! I'm a sucker for paranormal romance, time travel, and especially a Highland warrior with a cursed love—so this hit all the right spots. The premise is both heartbreaking and intriguing. Duncan, a 500-year-old warrior, is trapped in a brutal time loop where he repeatedly watches the love of his life, Julia, die over and over again. It's equal parts tragic and gripping, with just enough mystery to keep you hooked. Toni Goode is a new author for me, but I’m excited to see what else she’s got up her sleeve!
As for the narration, George Ellington did a good job. His deep, rich voice brought Duncan’s pain and passion to life, and his Scottish accent made the whole experience that much better. I’m giving him 4 stars too because his performance added depth and emotion to the characters, but there were a couple of moments where the pacing felt a tad slow. Still, he enhanced the story and kept me invested.

Can he save his love?
What a book. It has everything you need, from romance, intrigue, time travel, steamy scenes and love. Duncan is a Scottish Warrier who keeps us safe from dangers like witches and demons. He fell in love with Julia and his curse is to see her die over and over. This story had me at the first chapter and the surprises are worth the read. I could not wait to see if they got their happy ending, spoiler they did and to read the next in the series.

A great highland time loop
Toni Goode wrote a great scotch Highland time loops story. George Ellington did a great job on the narration. George brought the story to life. The has a lot of depth to it. Besides the time travel there is love, loss, hope, and a great story. There are sexy highlanders, paranormal romance and more. I did get the book for free for a honest review.

Original and Entertaining!
This was my first Toni Goode's book, and won't be my last. This is the first book in The Highlander Chronicles series. This is a great introduction to the series. Duncan and Julia's story is emotional, entertaining, and intriguing, filled with drama, banter, humor, action, and twists and turns. The characters are well developed, and interesting. The supporting characters are great. This is an excellent time travel romance., and a beautiful love story. George Ellington did a fantastic job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Mason, the next book in the serie. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wonderful Story
The narrator did an excellent job of narrating Duncan's character and Mason's. Although the American friend of Julia's accent was a British one, it did not take away from the story because, she didn't have a big part in the book. I read the ebook version already and I enjoyed that. This narration brought the story more to life, I was able to picture everything going on as if I was there with the narrator. There was no confusion as to the different timelines either. There was plenty of action and you just felt bad for Julia at times. Overall it was a wonderful story and I can't wait for the next book in the series and hopefully that one will get an audible version as well. I was gifted this audiobook by the Author but I am voluntarily leaving my own opinion in this review.

captivating
Duncan by Toni Goode is an enchanting start to The Highlander Chronicles, blending Scottish romance with a unique time-loop twist. Imagine being trapped in a relentless cycle of reliving the worst day of your life—this is Duncan’s reality, a 500-year-old Highlander cursed to experience the tragic death of his beloved over and over again. The audiobook pulls you into his emotional struggle and the heartbreak of his never-ending nightmare.
The narrator does an excellent job capturing Duncan’s deep sense of loss and frustration, while also bringing a sense of strength and resilience to his character. The Scottish setting comes alive through the narrator’s accents and voice work, adding to the immersion in Duncan’s world. The pacing is just right, balancing Duncan’s internal battle with moments of hope and determination as he seeks to break the curse.
For fans of Highlander romances, this audiobook delivers everything you’d expect—swoon-worthy moments, intense emotion, and a strong, brooding hero. But what makes it stand out is the intriguing time-loop element, which adds a fresh twist to the typical historical romance. As the first book in a five-part series, Duncan sets the stage for more epic love stories to come, with three other captivating Highlanders waiting to share their fates.
If you’re a fan of time-travel, curses, and Highlander heroes, this audiobook is a great pick. And with its limited-time price, it’s a perfect opportunity to dive into this captivating series!

Duncan and Julia!
This is an interesting and intriguing story with a time travel and a bit of groundhog repeat type story. It is about a highlander, Gods, witches, curses and all the sorts of paranormal fun and intrigue. Duncan is a highlander that is caught up in a time travel loop. He is a Scottish warrior who is over 500 years old. He has been cursed to relive the death of his love Julie, over and over again. It is a gripping and captivating story that was thoroughly enjoyable.

Fantastic love story
Duncan and Julia's love story. Tori Goode writes a time travel tale with a touch of groundhog day feel. Duncan and Tori is stuck in repeat of Julia's death. Each time there's just a slight difference. This is a captivating story full of heartbreak, loss, and love.
The audiobook is done very well by narrator George Ellington. His deep voice captures the listern as he brings thecstory to life with his narration.
