The path was laid out for Maxi Kennedy. Die, arrive in a town centered around a dungeon he owned, fill it with hot fantasy women, enjoy their ‘company’, and be happy. Maxi wasn’t sold on the whole dying part, but the rest was lining up well, right until a disgruntled adventurer kicked his butt for making the end boss of his dungeon too difficult.
Maxi’s little world was turned on its ear. He worried more about protecting his citizens than growing his dungeon. His personal assistant, a goddess-like high elf named Aleesia, saw only one solution. With a bit of magic, she constructed a casino behind his back, and adventurers flocked in like a new donut store arrived on their block. Maxi was on the fence about it, but the cash flow swayed him to accept her actions as a good thing, right until it wasn’t.
Another hard lesson was learned. Using transmutation magic to build unique structures tended to draw attention, and not all of it was wanted. Other dungeon masters visited his town, and the warnings they gave were less than subtle. Not only did he have to worry about jealousy, but the unnatural energy emanating from the casino acted as a beacon for the monsters that wandered between towns. Some of the creatures were of a higher level than the women he created to protect the town, and the race to level up before the next attack was on.
Dungeon Depot is a slow-paced, slice-of-life, dungeon-building story. The stakes are fairly low, the story is easy going, and most of the women are too hot to describe. This story contains fantasy elements often found in video games, such as experience points, leveling, and spicy moments that are not intended for young readers. So, download the book, sit back, relax, and enjoy the simple life Maxi has been handed.
