About this listen
I rule the ruthless world of the Mercy Blades, but she has stumbled into an even darker game. Sofia knows I would burn this city down to protect her. Dealing with death is part of the job. Dealing with a serial killer isn’t, but I could manage that.
But then she walked into our lives — the beautiful journalist who changed everything — and I would do anything to make sure nothing happens to her. But it isn't enough.
To keep her safe, I need to claim her...to possess her, body and soul. And I thought I did.
But now, the man who's supposed to be my greatest ally and closest friend tells me wants her just as much as do. Grayson wants her, and she wants him...and it makes me sick, but I want to see them together. To watch them. To command them both.
She’s not just the key to our redemption. She’s the catalyst that will either strengthen our unbreakable bond or shatter it forever.
As the walls close in around us, I discover a chilling truth: the serial killer from our past is just a pawn in a much larger conspiracy, and Sofia and her brother are in grave danger. There's a bounty on their heads, and shadowy figures will stop at nothing to see them dead.
I'll have to decide what role Grayson plays between us, but now, it's not just about our desire for her. It's about keeping her and her brother alive.
I need to remind her that she’s mine…and I don’t like sharing, especially when the price of sharing could be their lives.

Review
Echo is the second book of “The Mercy Blades” Series. This book cannot be read as a standalone to before reading Echo; go and read “Quiet” first. Now the audiobook is narrated by Michael Knight. He did an okay job. I’m still not a fan on his narration. Probably he just needs another person when trying to do the female voice. Other than that, the storyline is good, and the plot is good also.

More in the romance department
This is a continuation of the story from the previous book. There is no real answers or resolution. However, there is a lot of steam occurring in the romance arena. Michael Knight was superb in his narration. He was great in his portrayal of all the characters. I received this audiobook for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review.

Loved the narration of Michael Knight, who brings out the action and character to life.
Sofia is so fiery, no helpless damsel, you will love her. A journalist who finds herself needing protection. Grayson will do anything, at the same wanting to claim Sofia and keep her safe from a serial killer.
Sweet lord the heat in this book, we have action, suspense, BSDM, and great characters.... Oh that cliff hanger.

Slowly growing harem
Sofia adds another man to her harem in this second book of The Mercy Blades. There are no answers in this book, but the steam is big and I liked how things are getting more and more complicated with the serial killer. The narrator did a great job and I think I like having a male narrator for the whole thing.

Suspensful and Steamy
The Mercy Blades series continues with book 2 in Echo. Great performance in narration with lots of suspesful action with every turn of the page. And steamy hot scenes and conflicts with relationships.
