About this listen

More than six decades ago, Edgar Cayce, the world's greatest psychic, looked forward to the millennium—not with trepidation, but with hope. What did this remarkable prophet see for the new age? Having predicted, long before scientists, such phenomena as global warming and advances in communication, Cayce believed that we can harness extraordinary spiritual powers within ourselves, and that by changing our lives we will change the world around us.

Edgar Cayce on the Millennium—a unique guide for living in the year 2000 and beyond, and a summation of Cayce's visions of the future, draws on actual readings to reveal his foresight and a blueprint for humanity's salvation and progress in the next century.

Edgar Cayce - Good Listen

The first seven chapters were all about Cayce and his gifts and predictions. It was fascinating. After that the book seemed to change direction to be about other people's views of the millennium and Atlantis. It just didn't feel cohesive. It was all useful but I would have liked more of the first 7 chapters.

Interesting but felt almost like two books

This is the first Edgar Cayce book I listen to by Jess Stern and by this narrator. I absolutely loved this book just like all the other books on Cayce material I I've listened to.

Of all the Cayce books this one peaked my interest the most. The second half of the book was more intense.

Enlightening. Thought-provoking. Thorough.

Shines light on so many events, both in past history, and in our current world. Also gives a great sense of hope for the future. Not all doom and gloom as many books in this category are.

The teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible. But it is no coincidence that Edgar Cayce would echo much of what Jesus Christ said, seeing that he was a Bible teacher at one time.

A very interesting story using Cayce's readings and his insistence that - Free Will - is of our utmost importance in creating hope for humankind's future. Worth listening to.

A story of hope for humankind

The narrator wonderfully expresses the words of Cayce. The content was also very interesting, even though it was written in 1998 using Cayce’s predictions - it still very much is appropriate for today.

Easy listen and entertaining narrator

interesting, yet questionable, but inciting and riveting. almost creepy ambience with the background music. still couldn't seem to reconcile Casey's desire to impute reincarnation into Gods plan but yet intriguing when given some critical thinking.

fascinating
