Ryan “Edge” Stanton has everything he could want in life. As the sergeant at arms for the Rebel Chasers MC, he has a full brotherhood at his back, great friends outside of the club, and his own tattoo shop Needle's Edge. Looking from the outside in, one would think his life is perfect.
However, the one thing he wants and needs most in his life always seems to be just out of his reach. But Edge knows that the greatest things in life come from hard work and determination. Possibly a bit of stalking, as well. Edge is a man with a plan who is willing to wait for the woman who has owned his soul from the moment he saw her.
Kealy Abbott has come a long way after getting out of an abusive relationship. Between working as a nurse, spending time with friends, and volunteering at a woman’s shelter, she has made sure she’s living a fulfilling life. Even if it is a bit lonely at times. Better lonely than ever going near another man. Or she did until a very large and intimidating man wormed his way into her life and her trust. Too bad she’s too broken for a man like him. Or so she thinks.
Edge is willing to fight for Kealy and is ready to deal with anything or anyone who tries to do her harm. He’s never been the savior type, but he’ll do anything for her. However, sometimes the best way to save someone who feels broken is to show them that they’re capable of saving themselves.
Kealy is on the very edge of finding herself again, but can a tattooed biker be the reason she becomes whole?

Edge is a grumpy Sergeant at Arms for the MC, but he has a big soft spot for one girl.
Kealy, being hurt physically and emotionally in the past isn't wanting to rush into anything any time soon.
I loved how Edge always wanted Kealy to tell him she wanted something and never left it open for interpretation. He understood she was fragile and handled that very well.
Thank you for the Audio ARC provided by narrator Teena Scot and she did very well with Kealy. Where I became disconnected was in Dom Jonson's portrayal of Edge. Don't get me wrong dude has a nice, deep, sultry voice, however it's the way he speaks or reads the words that kept taking me out of the story. I am no expert but I think it's called inflection. Another plus I enjoyed from the audio was the sound effects, I know some people have issues with them in audio books, but I love them...except for the moans, that was too much for me. But give me revving bikes all day.
it was ok

Story: I enjoyed the story overall, and while I don't want to give away too much, Edge is the perfect combination of hard and soft. I could really relate to Kealy, and I just wanted to push her to get over her shyness and take the plunge with Edge. Great pacing, and amazing characters.
Narration: Dom and Teena absolutely brought this story to life. They play off each other so well, and really made me feel like I was listening to the story unfold in real time. Honestly I wouldn't have been surprised if I ran into Edge and Kealy in my local market they seemed so real. They will definitely be going on my listen to more of list!

However, Kealy has been traumatized by her past and has trouble trusting men. Although once she gets to know Edge she slowly but surely opens herself up to the possibility of love. I adored Edge, underneath his gruff exterior beats the heart of a caring, protective man who would do anything for those he loves.
Whilst I enjoyed Teena Scott’s narration I had a harder time connecting with Dom Johnson’s performance. His voice was pleasant to listen to but the words seemed to be drawn out and in fact I had to speed up my listening speed (which I never do) as it just seemed to be too slow. However that is just my opinion.
The addition of the sound affects was something that I enjoyed. I look forward to reading or listening to more in this series.
