About this listen

Welcome to the world of fairy tales...only these are not just any old fairy tales. These fairy tales come with a Christian truth.

C.S. Lewis once said that we learn much better from stories than from fact. That is the purpose of these tales. Take an old, well known fairy tale and retell it from a Christian perspective and you have a Christian truth that stays with you. Children love to listen to these over and over. Each time they do, a Biblical truth is implanted into their brain.

Good for Sunday School

The Christian idea are presented solidly; however, without much creativity. The stories could have greater detail and figurative language. Decent basic stories.

Bastardization of the classics...

As a scholar and lover of folk mythology I was disappointed with this attempt to impose Christian values by twisting perfectly good fairy tales. There are several Christian fairy tales in Grimm's- please use those if you must, but this is worse than Disney for original intent.
