Das Manuskript der "Original Edition" wurde im Jahre 1999 entdeckt und erstmals im Jahr 2006 von der „Course in Miracles Society“ (CIMS) herausgebracht.
Ein Kurs in Wundern – ein spirituelles Meisterwerk – widmet sich den Lehren darüber, wer wir sind, unserer Beziehung zu Gott und unserer Beziehung zueinander.
Der Kurs besteht aus drei Teilen: dem TEXT, ÜBUNGSBUCH und HANDBUCH FÜR LEHRER. Der TEXT enthält die theoretischen Grundlagen des metaphysischen Systems des Kurses. Das ÜBUNGSBUCH besteht aus 365 Lektionen, die täglich geübt werden sollen, um unseren Geist neu zu schulen und unsere Wahrnehmung zu heilen. Schließlich umfasst das HANDBUCH FÜR LEHRER Informationen für und über Lehrer Gottes.
Dieses eBook ist das TEXTBUCH mit den theoretischen Grundlagen, welche die Lektionen des Übungsbuches bedeutungsvoll machen. Die Wiederherstellung von bislang verlorenen Textstellen und die Wiedergabe des Textes in seiner ursprünglichen Anordnung verleihen dem eigentlichen Autor eine Präsenz, die in den späteren Ausgaben etwas fehlt.
