A phenomenal book. A must read for anyone who has lost a relative or friend and still needs answers. Beautifully written and extraordinarily accessible.

Touching, mysterious and funny.

Wow, I just finished listening and I'm in tears because the story brought out so many emotions I don't even know what I feel exactly. The story of ageing (grand)parents and the struggle of being part of the sandwich generation. But it also brought back memories of my own young adulthood, which now seems to be very far away, even though I'm only in my late 40s. Just like Ellen, I was once a completely different person before I settled down.
I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it!

Exciting ending

First of all, I have to say that my niece, Karen, is an excellent storyteller, both verbally and written. I learned so much about an amazing woman that I wish I could go back in time to spend more time with her. Karen, you are an incredible sleuth! You would make a wonderful genealogist!

An Amazing Tribute
