About this listen

With so much to do on her first day of school, Emily feels like it will take forever to reach 100, when her teacher announces they will have a party after 100 days. As the days and weeks go by, Emily and her new classmates learn new ideas, expand their world, and grow closer together one day at a time.

This is one of several books that teaches kids as well as adults how to count to 100 simply by telling a story. A fun counting book like no other if I say so myself.

You should also check out the video version of the book and watch the story come to life. The illustrations in the book are colorful.

I liked how the numbers corresponded to Emily’s school days like 26 for the letters in the alphabet, 88 for the keys on the piano, and 52 for the number of cards in a deck.

A highly recommended book for all number lovers like me.
