For A Better YOU

I wanted to listen to this book because for years now I have been shaming myself and saying things like - Keep your cool!, Just walk a way and trying to self-talk myself into staying calm. Sometimes that works and often it doesn't and I always wish I was a "normal" person that can stay calm so easily. This book went deeper and really helped me understand the triggers, how to feel them coming and how to stay grounded. I really enjoyed listening because it went over complex emotions in a simple and easy-to-follow way- and I felt it was so relatable. Many practical tools to manage emotions are presented, such as ways to stay calm under pressure. I really enjoyed the narration, the voice was nice which I believe is always essential when choosing this type of book. When I am having emotional ups and downs, I want to improve my self-control which I feel will bring peace into my life.
