Alzheimer’s is a tragic health condition many families have dealt with or are dealing with, this guide is a gentle guide to understanding it better. Both of my parents have dealt with caring for their parents with Alzheimer’s and dementia and I know it takes a huge toll on the caregivers. This book explains the process and gives caregivers the tools to process the diagnosis and move into action. I especially like how many ideas are shared because no two families are alike. Overall, this book will help any caregiver who needs gentle advice on how to manage it all.

I'm glad I read this, I found it very compassionate for what it's like for caregivers in this situation. I enjoyed the real life stories, I found those very helpful. There were some great tips in here on how to process the emotions that come up when seeing a loved one in this state. Great book!

Practical and Actionable
I was very impressed listening to this book because it's a very tough situation for anyone to be navigating. The author came at it from a place of compassion and knowledge, really helping to set groundwork on what you can do when you're feeling particularly helpless. As dementia patients often make us feel, though to no ones fault, of course. I was impressed at how well this book was able to have tips and tricks for anyone, from a caregiver to the family member themself.

A bought this audiobook for my mother. She is always taking care of my grandmother. This audiobook is packed full of fantastic tips and tricks for providing a great level of care to the elderly.
