The book also promotes the idea that you can "manifest" things into reality, which I find troubling. While I do believe that maintaining a positive outlook can influence our attitudes and decisions, the idea that we have the power to manifest outcomes ourselves leans more toward New Age thinking than biblical truth. Only God has the power to bring things into being.
Another major issue was the crude and vulgar language used when discussing intimacy between a husband and wife. It felt unnecessary and inappropriate—especially in a book that claims to come from a Christian perspective.
The audiobook version was particularly frustrating. It used a virtual voice that mispronounced several words, including books of the Bible—likely due to abbreviations in the text that were never corrected. This made it feel poorly edited and careless.
Overall, the book came across as self-promoting and lacked authenticity. I couldn’t finish it and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for genuine, biblically sound encouragement.
