About this listen
Imagine the biblical book of Revelations, rewritten by Woody Allen or Mel Brooks. End Times: A Comedy in Two Acts, has more laughs in each scene than the entire Left Behind series. Co-playwrights and twin brothers Bill and Bob Schmalfeldt worked on this project. Unfortunately, Bob died of a stroke in 2004. Bill doesn't think it was related to the writing of this play.

This Was Some Funny Satirical Comedy
END TIMES: A COMEDY was pretty funny and I could easily listen to more. When I first began listening I wasn't sure what to expect or think but the more I listened the more hilarious it became. Act 7 while boarding the plane to Rome was one of my favorites. It was truly a hoot. I hope there'll be more.
Big kudos to all the narrators who participated in this audiobook. They were ALL fantastic and they worked together very well. Everything was cohesive and they made this an even more enjoyable listen. The sound effects were also well done.

End Times
This book had a handful of humor and a dash of substance. I just couldn't get past the performance. The different voices were a fun idea where it's a play, but the recording was terrible. I was so put off by it I found myself fast forwarding just to get through it all. Not impressed!

Very enjoyable comedy!
Would you consider the audio edition of End Times: A Comedy to be better than the print version?
Of course! You get all the different narrators and voices!
Who was your favorite character and why?
They were all good but I really liked the french speaking Pope and the US president.
Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?
Same as above.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No. This wasn't that type of book.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed listening to this! It takes a lot for me to laugh at something, but I found myself laughing out loud throughout the whole book. I wasn't even aware that they had audiobooks that were written in this format. It reminded me of something that they would listen to on the radio in the old days. I will be listening to this again!

End Times, Laugh-In style
It was the Best of Times, The Worse of Times, then the End of Times.
Twins Bill and Bob Schmalfeldt have gone where almost no one has gone before in a search of the next comedic treasure, finding their inspiration in the Bible's book of Revelations and the series Left Behind.
I especially enjoyed the giggles I got out of the Devil calling his son at work.
The narration was perfect! It was like listening to an old time radio broadcast with a full cast of characters. The narrators did this book proud while entertaining the heck out of the listener.
