Publisher's summary

Time is at an end.
Jericho is a Paladin, a warrior of the ages given the task of balancing the scales of the universe to keep the very fabrics of time and space from tipping. Chronologically, he’s the first of the super-race.

And it looks like he’s also going to be the last.

Icarus, the cavalier Irish Paladin from the future, has single-handedly derailed Jericho’s Crusade, murdered thousands of people, stolen the life of one of his closest friends, and brought the world to the brink of destruction. The only hope of getting things back on track has been buried throughout history, pitting Jericho and Icarus against one another in a time-traveling race.

Despite the warnings from Sybil, his Partisan, and the all-knowing Cortex, Jericho knows the only way to stop Icarus is to kill him—an impossible task since Paladins aren’t supposed to be able to fatally harm one another. But, if Jericho can’t somehow stop the madman, then existence will collapse around him as the mighty cogs of time finally grind to a halt, buckling under the weight of total annihilation.

Welcome to the end times, boyo.

Excellent book!

I dislike that it is over. Looking forward to more books written by this author.

I'm confused

Loved this series. This last book was all over the place. I got lost and didn't know what was happening.

Such an amazing series

You do have to use some intellect to follow all the twists and turns of this final book in the Pheonix Cycle series but that’s what I love about it!! It isn’t mere drivel but intelligently written with heart and depth and feeling. I loved it so much I will be reading the whole series again very soon!

A fun story that does too much

This series of 4 books is fun but struggles as the author throws in so many characters & twists that it unravels somewhat. Overall, I enjoyed the series but I really had to push to the last half of the 4th book. This is a series that sci-fi/fantasy fans will enjoy. If you don’t take it too seriously and enjoy the distraction, you’ll enjoy.
