About this listen
The continuing story of Arthur, the second in a trilogy which began with THE WINTER KING. The novels bring Arthur and his world to vivid life. A man battling for his vision of the future in a brutal age, dragged down by suspicions and magics of the past, surrounded by intrigue, dependent on his skill at war and genius for leadership.

painfully slow
there's some excellent story elements here, but Ivd been listening in the car for well over 2 hours and - not wanting to spoil it for others - will confine myself to saying I feel like I've accidentally bought into a teen romance. It wasn't cheap, but I'll add this to a folder in my collection I have labeled "Regret buying ".
