Publisher's summary

For years, Jonathan Damon has buried himself in his scientific research, but now his uncle threatens to pull the funding for his lab unless Jonathan makes strides toward marriage and family. So he decides to bring a fake fiancée to his cousin's wedding to mollify his uncle. And the only convenient candidate for this particular experiment is Sarah.

Sarah has been Jonathan's assistant for years, and she knows he's never thought of her in any other way. She's happy to play the part of his fiancée, but being thrown into unusual intimacy with her brilliant, sexy boss stirs up feelings she has never been able to admit before.

If only those feelings could be returned...

Engaging The boss

This was a lively romantic romp about two people who are not good at expressing their emotions. I enjoyed reading this book.

Engaging the Boss

Engaging the Boss quite enjoyed this book in the series, the male voice was not as good as others.

Bad narrator

I LOVE this book and often re-read it on kindle, so I was excited to get it for audible, but the narrator killed it for me. Someone said it was like she was talking with retainers and that’s exactly what it sounds like. I had to speed it up to 1.2 to sound a little better.

something is missing

The story is okay but the main characters lack of cohesive personality. There's an attempt to connect the two main character but the bridge between them wasn't establish very well. As for the lead woman of the story, I am confuse on how the author project her personality, not consistent through out the story and often times disconnect with lead man of the story. The lead man of the story need more background emotions in order understand his personality and how does it play to the premise of the story. The story needs something to connect main characters to the premise of the story and their personalities.

Much better than the second book!

Enjoyed it every much. Had a great story like. Wished we would have had a closer on Jonathan and his uncle. What happened after...? Hopefully it's on the fourth book. Fourth book here I come!!

Couldn’t listen!

Where is Angela Dawe? This narrator sounds like she’s just learning to talk with a full set of night retainers in her mouth! I truly tried, but listening to this one is NOT possible! It makes the characters so unattractive too!

Do NOT waste your time, this one should be read.... it’s just too painful to listen to!

Annoying production :/

There are many clicks, repeats and sections of poor sound quality which interfere with the story.
