About this listen
Enigma Forced, Book 2, is yet the most challenging and complex case for the Enigma Heirs.
Profiteers are preying on displaced souls who seek freedom, sacrificing everything. Wanting to give their children hope and a future, but they wrongly trust on a roll of loaded dice. Teens are picked off and sold into slavery. Cartels offer the choice to strong, young men to move illegal drugs over the border or die.
The R-Group and CATS team leaders want to end Mateo's inhuman business model. The heroes must derail the human exploitation and opioid epidemic, killing people in increasingly dramatic numbers. If they can save even a few from the jaws of death, they win.
The present-day battle is in full swing, yet it can end badly for humanity unless the Enigma Heirs triumph. Who will survive the onslaught and how fast can they make Mateo pay?

Rescue in the dark!!
“Enigma Forced” a thriller novel that follows the Enigma Heirs. The struggle to dismantle a network of human exploitation and drug trafficking. The story explores the intense struggle of the most vulnerable, trapped by cartels that offer them a false hope of freedom, as the protagonists, part of the R-Group and CATS, enter into a battle to save lives and end Mateo's inhumane business.
It's a narrative full of unexpected twists and turns, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat. The narrator does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life, conveying the tension and urgency of the mission. The emotional he puts into his narration helps the story resonate, allowing listeners to connect with the story and the struggles of the protagonists.

Exciting, Intriguing Continues with Enigma Heirs
The Enigma Heirs take their responsibility of protecting the innocent to heart. When it is learned how Mateo is profiting from the thousands of people who are dying from drug use or being trafficked, they know they must move quickly. The Enigma Heirs are the only ones who can put an end to Mateo’s business and do it quickly.
The authors, Charles Breakfield and Rox Burkey, work seamlessly together crafting captivating and engaging narratives rich with characters and plot twists! The dialogue is authentic and keeps the storyline moving forward at a steady pace. Each character is well-developed and consistent throughout. The plot twists are unexpected and well-executed.
The narrator, Derek Shoales, is amazing! He speaks clearly and enhances the suspense through his deliberate and meticulous delivery. His voice is rich and versatile.
This is one book in a series, which can be heard as a standalone. The authors are skilled at providing their listeners with enough background. I have heard each book from the original Enigma series to now and find them all unique, exciting, and immersive. I very highly recommend this book, series, authors, and narrator!
There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook.

A powerful story!!!
"Enigma Forced," is a book from authors Charles Breakfield and Rox Burkey, they weave a gripping narrative that tackles pressing societal issues like human trafficking.. The story follows a group of protagonists who confront Mateo, a ruthless antagonist running a sinister empire involved in trafficking and drug distribution. Mateo's manipulative tactics prey on desperate parents and vulnerable youth, drawing them into his web of exploitation.
The characters find themselves racing against time to save lives and seek justice against Mateo's brutal operations. The plot delves deep into moral dilemmas, forcing characters—and readers—to grapple with tough ethical choices. This isn't just an action-packed thriller;
It's a powerful book that makes you reflect on the present and how close a conflict like this can really be.
The narrator does a good job, although there are moments when some vocal inflections are missing. Regarding the audio quality, I think it could have been recorded with better microphones. I know quite a bit about sound, and there are many parts where the narrator's voice doesn’t come through 100% cleanly, but this can be fixed with better microphones in the future.

A Thrilling Adventure
Enigma Forced is an exceptional audiobook that combines high-stakes action with expertly developed characters and thrilling plot twists. Breakfield and Burkey are at the top of their game, delivering another exhilarating story that is brought to life by Derek Shoales’s dynamic narration. I have become a fan of this series.
Whether you’re new to the series or a long-time fan, this audiobook is highly recommended for anyone who loves suspense, fast-paced action, and a story reflecting real-world issues of drug smuggling and human trafficking and exploitation.

Great second book
I really enjoyed how this book picked up where the last one left off.I also enjoyed that there were the same characters, and some new ones that were great standouts had great personalities
The narrator did an excellent job of having different voices for the characters, giving it a more visual feel while listening.
I highly recommend it.

A story of courage and sacrifice!!!
“Enigma Forced” comes with a lot of suspense and tension, although it is only a novel it touches deep themes that we see daily in the world, slavery, human trafficking, speculation, and kidnappings, the author combines action with very touching themes, in short, listening to this narration makes us reflect a lot about realities that happen in many countries. Point also for the narrator who gives us a clear understanding of the problems that people live, I also like the emotional depth that you feel when listening to him.

Combating shadow and trafficking in human beings!
Continuing with the saga of the heirs of the Enigma, in this installment of suspense and science fiction we can find very complex issues such as slavery, human trafficking, the struggle between a criminal leader and a group determined to end his organization, I must also highlight how the narrator makes use of a third person omniscient that allows us to feel as our own the emotions of the protagonists.

Cyber espionage meets human trafficking
If you want to enjoy an exciting thriller that brings cyber espionage, human trafficking, fight against organized crime and unexpected plot twists to the mix, this might be the title for you. ‘Enigma Heirs’ is the second book of the Enigma Forced saga, by Charles Breakfield and Rox Burkey. As its name suggests, the story follows up the heirs of Enigma, a team of cyber security experts lead by Juan y Julie Rodriguez. As you may guess, they hunt cybercriminals, only this time they take on one of their most challenging cases yet, as they must deal with complex criminals who exploit displaced people who are just searching for better lives. Derek Shoales' narration proves to be accurately clear in order to differentiate time frames, characters and their emotions.
