About this listen

It's the first night of Chanukah, and Esmeralda and her friends have a very important task to complete before sundown.

They need to make enough yummy latkes for all the flower fairies in the garden. There's no time to waste.

Can they succeed before it's time to light the menorah?

My daughter and I loved this story. She says it should have been longer and that you, Debbie, are her favourite author. She's 7.

A charming story about fairies celebrating Chanukah together as friends, making their food and preparing the celebrations together. There is no specific moral for this story but it is a good story about celebrating a holiday together. The narration was enjoyable to listen to and it was a fun short read.

A charming Chanukah kid’s story
