About this listen
Experience chills as you read these stories and more:
An artist whose paintings become reality.
A man who longs to rid himself of an annoying companion.
A child terrified by things that slither and ooze in the night.
A woman who sniffs out killers.
A life coach whose own brand of "therapy" goes way beyond cruel and unusual.
Author Mark Tullius will leave you wondering, "Where does he come up with this stuff?"
©2015 Vincere Press (P)2015 Mark TulliusI really liked each story in the book; many times, I only like a few in a short story collection, but I really enjoyed each one of the individual stories. They were well written, and while they were chilling and perfect for the Halloween season, they were all unique. I did not ever feel that they were the same story with just different characters as is often the case.
The only issue I had was with the audio production. There were sound effects, and while a few may have enhanced the listening experience, often they distracted from the story and overpowered the narration. The stories in this book are good enough to stand on their own without the added sound effects. The author narrated the majority of this book, and I'm generally not a fan of that. This would have benefited from a different narrator, as the narration was slow and somewhat monotonous at times. That being said, the quality of the writing makes me gives this an excellent rating overall.
Excellent Scary Stories

What did you like best about Every One's Lethal? What did you like least?
I didn't care for a couple of the stories, but that's just a preference. I'm sure others might like them. Other than that, I can't really think of anything negative. What did you like best about this story?
The stories were original, Most of the stories were engaging. There are some cool sound effects that bring the reader into the story. The writer has a great imagination. What aspect of the narrators’s performance would you have changed?
The readers tones were a little flat and sometimes choppy, but they weren't distracting. I didn't feel the narrator did much to build suspense.Did Every One's Lethal inspire you to do anything?
Lock my doors and not trust anyone. LOL.Any additional comments?
Between each story, there is a screeching sound, meant to build suspense, I suppose, but I found the noise irritating--others might find it enhancing.Spooky

I said a little bit about this book in my updates and this is probably going to need spell check but I'll come back for that later.
These stories are 100% worth the read. This is an author with a talent for words and a strong imagination. Some of the stories get to be a bit disturbing, but then isn't good writing any writing that makes you feel something?
I may have overlooked some but here's a break down of stories
The artist : Everything this artist paints goes bad. Why does she even bother going on and on with it? This story had me thinking for a long time afterwards because it has deeper meaning beneath it. 5 stars
split decision- Two men , one body. One wants to kill the other for his freedom. This story is dark and twisted and had me hanging on every word. 5 stars
lethal injection- I saw the twist coming but I still thought it was great. Revenge is a dish best served cold! 5 stars
No ones here- creepy, fun word play with "no one"
4 stars. The disturbing content was too much for me but I have to respect good writing when I see it.
To catch a killer- the policewoman pretending to be a hooker to catch a killer. The shared extra strong sense of smell was a nice touch.5 stars
Hit the lights- I knew what was coming but it was still pretty good. The ending reminded me of a scene from "It" 3 stars
Last embrace- meh. I just wasnt drawn in by this one as much as by others 3 stars
When it rains- this was a cool story but I was never quite sure what the monsters were supposed to look like so it was harder to keep a good picture in my head. Were they like... blobs like swamp thing or what?
Changed man- 5 stars. I loved the narrator on this one! Can I find her anywhere else on audible?
every precious second- be careful what you wish for!
This is a great read for October in celebration of Halloween. Mark Tullius's words paint a crisp picture, and the story lines are strong, interesting, and fast paced.
I sure hope there are more short stories to read by this author! After reading these I am hungry for more.
Like Twilight Zone? Love this.

The stories were at best 3.5 stars. I rounded up to four because Audible doesn't allow for fractions of stars. I can't really put my finger on what I would do to improve the stories since I am not a writer. They were okay, but I am not driven to read or listen to more of Mark Tullius' stories.
I did not like the narration so much!
