Book is packed with guidance that works
I was worried about my son’s ability to stay focused and finish what he starts. I was able to work with him to apply the guidance in this book and I’m seeing big differences in his ability to stay on task.

Having this has been great!
I stumbled upon this audiobook when my son was having a tough time in high school. I loved how it taught me to work with my kid instead of constantly nagging him. We've been using the time management tricks, and I've noticed a considerable difference in his homework habits. The emotional regulation stuff has been great, too—there have been way fewer meltdowns lately. If you're dealing with a disorganized teen, give this a listen. It's made our home life so much smoother!

Practical & Supportive Guide for Parents of Teens
This book was incredibly helpful in understanding how to better support my teen with everyday challenges like staying focused, managing time, and getting organized. It explains executive functioning in a way that’s easy to grasp and offers real strategies parents can use right away.
What I really appreciated was the encouraging tone—it’s not about “fixing” your teen, but about helping them build confidence and independence through small, manageable steps. It also gave me new ways to communicate and work with my teen instead of creating more conflict.

As a teacher of high school teens, I often encounter lost parents at their wit's end, not knowing how to advise their teens or, quite frankly, where to start! This book is jam-packed with information to guide parents on how to help their teens better themselves. From coping with stress to overcoming procrastination, parents are given tools for their toolbox. The success stories included add a warm touch too! I have recommended this book to more than a few parents I work with!

Empowering and supportive for parents
As a parent who sometimes struggles with communicating success to our teens, I found this book supportive, informational and refreshing to hear about other parents who are in the same situation as us. Sometimes we think we have all the answers just because we went through our teen years and grew up. Times have changed and continuing to learn about the generational thing's teens go through these days is enlightening.
The stories and testimonial parables from other parents were both inspiring and completely relatable. Highly recommended for any parent who just needs a little help.

Helpful Tips Without Feeling Overwhelming
I listened to this during my commute after a rough week trying to help my teen stay on top of school stuff. It gave me simple tools I could actually use without adding stress. The voice was easy to follow and had a friendly tone that made the advice feel doable. What I liked most was how it focused on small changes instead of trying to fix everything at once. I’ve already seen small wins like fewer reminders needed and better planning. It helped me feel more hopeful and less frustrated.
