Orientation for Your Disorientation

JD Pearing employs his wit and experience to highlight why many pastors and ministry leaders struggle and how they can reorient themselves for future success. Disappointment often arises due to unfulfilled expectations, but many of these expectations could have been anticipated. JD takes us through the book of Acts to show what the first church leaders faced and how we should prepare ourselves for similar experiences. In addition to uncovering these challenges, his book offers practical insights and reflective exercises to enhance your leadership skills. As a leader with younger and less experienced staff, I'm thrilled to guide my entire team through this book!

A Book filled with Wisdom, Humor, and Practicality

I’m not in vocational ministry but I am involved in leading ministry at my local church. This book provides deep and long-earned wisdom. I particularly appreciated the big challenges after each section. I am deeply encouraged at a personal level and challenged to take my leadership to the next level (both in ministry and my work as a manager). It is beautiful how the practical wisdom, and insights from years of study in the book of Acts are seamlessly interwoven. Great book! It will change the way you think about planning and preparing for the future.
