Nazis are already infiltrating Polva, a quiet town in southern Poland, to scout for provisions for the looming invasion. Grandfather, Maria and other veterans of the Polish underground know the meaning of the German word 'Blitzkrieg' or Lightning War, intercepted on their secret channels. Excellent story, poor execution in reading
Although the author states that the story is fiction, I could imagine it to be true. The virtual reader was not that great. It used pauses in the middle of sentences where pauses shouldn't have been.

Captivating story
Absolutely captivating story. Although it is fictional, it is based on historical facts of very real events. One wish however, that the reader's voice was better. It would be superb to hear it with a slight Polish account and the correct pronunciation of Polish names, etc.

Captivating story, pre-WWII historical facts off
The author seems to think that Poles knew about the probability of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact more than a few months before it was signed. Which was plainly impossible.
Nazi infiltration in Poland almost a year before September 1st 1939 also was a bit more subtle than men in military uniform with swastikas driving in trucks.
