Very Happy

I originally purchased the soft cover due to a budding interest in local history. That book became my main reference for any new adventures in Oregon for years. I was really happy to find that it was made into an audio book. Now I can listen to the relevant chapters on my way to the adventures!

The book I didn't know I craved!

We have fallen in love with Oregon in recent years (we are from the northeast). As truck drivers, we've driven through countless times, memorized the scenery, spent a couple vacations and always yearn to return. This fantastic book brings the countryside, it's cities, coast, people and history alive in a way I'd have never experienced otherwise. It's interesting and fun and given me a list of places I want to go back and see! The narration is perfect. A million thanks to the author.

History for curious adventurers

Very well written and narrated as to be expected of a Sullivan book. I love the Indian stories that accompany some of the places talked about in this book. This is a great book to have on audio while driving, (like having bill Sullivan in the car with you explaining what your seeing) highly recommend for people that usually get bored with conventional books of history.

Loved it!

This was a great listen! I actually bought two hard copies of the book after I started listening (one for me and one for a relative) so that I can go to the places discussed in this book. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Oregon and the great outdoors!
