About this listen

A biotech company is poised to release its highly anticipated new product, a revolutionary swimming pool cleaning system that depends on an unlikely mix of exotic microorganisms. But when the president of the company’s son dies unexpectedly in his own private pool, the company’s product launch is thrust into uncertainty.

Determined to salvage his company and make a fortune in the process, CEO Dr. Harry Stone races around the world to collect hard-to-find microbes literally from the ends of the Earth in an attempt to meet the launch deadline with a secretly modified product. Meanwhile, on the domestic front, those closest to Harry search for their own way to survive under extreme conditions.

This was a perfect summer read, although it will make you think twice if you are reading by the pool, feeling like you might need to urinate.

Dr Harry Stone, the CEO of his own biotech company, is poised to release a new product that will revolutionize the way pools are cleaned. A tragic accident in his own pool may derail the release of this new product.

I greatly enjoyed this story and felt the narration by Dan Delgado really added to the tale.

The storyline was good. I was in for most of it but the narration by Dan Delgado just grated on my nerves. It seemed too aggressiive to me. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
