About this listen

FOUR Shades of Prophets: The Slippery Slope to Hell is the follow-up to and companion of Roles & Responsibilities for Today’s Prophets (of the Lord), and specifically the chapter about the “one-strike rule.” It is easy to write off a prophet who misses the mark in any area of his or her life as a false prophet. That is particularly the case if a prophet prophesies falsely. But is that in keeping with Jesus’s command to not judge by appearances, but to judge righteously (John 7:24)? When Peter erred in his speech and actions, Jesus looked at him and rebuked satan, but did not permanently disqualify Peter from ministry. Conversely, the Lord’s judgment of Judas was damning. Why were Jesus’s judgments of His apostles different?

FOUR Shades of Prophets: The Slippery Slope to Hell is about discerning four categories of prophets to determine which God/god they are serving, and if they need restoration or if they are beyond redemption. It also gives tips to help prophets from falling (too far) from grace, and how to quickly repent if an error arises. FOUR Shades of Prophets: The Slippery Slope to Hell is a discernment tool to help judge prophets righteously and assist prophets in examining themselves to see if they are still of the faith.
