I am Thach Long, a graphic design instructor by profession. In addition to my teaching role, I have also written articles for e-CHÍP magazine and served as a guest lecturer for computer science programs at mainstream institutions in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Alongside my teaching commitments, I organize events and handle communications for personal development programs.
In 2008, I read a famous book titled " How to Stop Worrying and Start Living ". This book taught me valuable life lessons that I applied both then and now. In a chapter discussing risks, the book mentioned Life Insurance roughly as follows: If you worry about risks, insurance companies will continue to profit from you. According to statistics, the likelihood of these dangers occurring is extremely small, akin to a grain of sand in a vast desert, or a drop of water in a boundless ocean.
This idea stayed with me for years, leading me to reject purchasing Life Insurance despite direct interactions and work experiences with numerous Insurance Consultants.
It wasn't until 2016, after 8 years of opposition and refusal, that I finally signed my first Life Insurance contract. The journey throughout those 8 years is recounted in this book.
