Natalia Ginzburgs Mann, Leone Ginzburg, ein russischer Schriftsteller, hatte eine führende Rolle in der antifaschistischen Widerstandsbewegung: Mit ihren Kindern teilte sie von 1940 bis 1943 seine Verbannung in den Abruzzen.
