Publisher's summary

Wreck Itall is haunted by his past, and by his destiny in the mountains he has decided to call home. His mentor has been waiting to see which side he will choose—good, or evil—but Wreck himself doesn't know that answer quite yet. He is the newest member of the Fastlander Crew, but they are very different from him. It is safest for everyone if he remains an outsider. If the Crew knew how dangerous he really is, they wouldn’t have ever let him pledge.
No one can stop him.
No one can tame the monster inside of him.
No one can break down his carefully-constructed walls…until he meets Timber.
The quirky beauty has a dark destiny of her own, and awakens something inside of him that can never be released onto the world. Wreck knows it is safer to stay away from her because she is human, and has no idea what destruction is coming for Wreck and his Crew. It's not fair to put a human in the middle of the war that has been building for so long, but he can't seem to leave her alone. All he knows is that she brings out a side of him that could be the end of the world, and will absolutely be the end of Wreck. She dredges up the monster.

Timber Harris has a decision to make that she wouldn’t wish on anyone. She’s in search of a sign. After a chance meeting with an unlikely hero, she is feeling the winds of positive change finally shift in her direction. Wreck is abrasive and closed-off. He’s a shifter, and she’s never been exposed to shifters before. To the outside world, he is uncaring and cold and dangerous, but with her, in moments of vulnerability, she can see the man he could be. He’s dominant and fiercely protective, but she can drag a smile from him, and that feels important. She can see him slowly growing a heart.
Timber is falling fast, but the closer she feels to him, the more distance he tries to create. A therapist by day, Timber knows exactly what to do to break down those walls. The more she learns about him, the more she realizes humans really don’t know anything about the chaos that is happening in the shifter world.

War has come to Damon’s Mountains. Wreck is the biggest weapon they have, if only he can control his fire.
His destiny was always to become the biggest villain Damon’s Mountains has ever known.
Timber’s destiny is to stop him.

Expect the unexpected in this epic finale in T. S. Joyce’s monster-hit Fastlander series, where action-adventure and colossal world-building meet love stories that will tug at your heart for years to come.

****Content Warning: Explicit spicy love scenes, naughty language, and piles of sexy shifter secrets. Shifter animal battles and wars for territory lines show up in most of these books, which includes action adventure and violence. Intended for mature audiences.

Story line

I absolutely loved everything. Maybe, because TS Joyce is one of my most favorite authors..from before and including Saw Bears, and everything in between. What a writer!

Phoenix Fire

This book to me is the very best of TS Joyce’s books! I’ve read them all and this is the BEST! I’m going to read this book again and again! The Phoenix is the best shifter power so far not only because it’s soooo neat but also because it will have your heart. I have loved every single character in Damons mountains but Wreck is it!! You throw Timber in the story and you have the perfect storm! Enjoy

Fire and ice

Like or love, good or bad, family or foe, war or peace. I loved it all. I really like the Ned to 1010 at the hospital. Since the author is a phoenix, she was the perfect one to write this story. Now I look forward to a new crew.

What a story

I am just blown away with this one. The buildup of this story is great. The way it is written in such detail made listening so enjoyable. Now the ending, grab the entire box of Kleenex cause it will be necessary! The way this gripped me by my soul. So beautifully written and although it is AI reading it did not in any way take away from the story I still cried like there was no tomorrow. That is a well written story for ya. Definitely worth five stars. Highly recommend not only this story but this author!!!!

The story we’ve all been waiting for but skip the audiobook

This is the story we have all been waiting for & TS Joyce doesn’t disappoint. The narration however was a let down. The virtual voice was monotone throughout making it difficult to determine which character was speaking. I stopped after chapter 1 & just read the book instead.
