Publisher's summary

Smart and sassy human women find true love with their alien warrior mates in this exciting sci-fi romance collection!

This three-book omnibus includes the following titles:

BOUND (BOOK 4)

My fated mate is a prince. Can I truly be his princess?

After watching my friends find bliss with their gorgeous alien mates, I’ve secretly been hoping the same thing would happen to me.

Still, when Prince Khrelan singles me out and invites me to stay in his palace so he can learn more about the human race, I’m terrified. He’s commanding, powerful, and insanely handsome—and he’s skeptical of the mate bond between Kalixians and humans.

He wants to prove the bond isn’t real. It’s my job to convince him it is.

But when chemistry flares between us like wildfire, it may be more than we can resist….

Even if neither of us is ready for what it could mean.

BROKEN (BOOK 5):

Stranded on an alien planet with a cyborg warrior…

All I wanted to do was find my missing best friend. I never planned on getting kidnapped by aliens.

These ugly brutes claim I’m meant to be some sort of tribute bride, but there’s no way I’m letting that happen. Unfortunately, my escape attempt ends with me crashing onto a planet called Kalix.

Alone in the dangerous wilderness, my only hope of survival may be a darkly handsome alien with bronze skin, horns, and penetrating eyes.

He seems to want to help me. Hell, he seems to want to do a lot more than that to me. But I’ve been burned enough times back on Earth that trust doesn’t come easily…

Especially when I find out that my alien protector is harboring some dark secrets of his own.

CONSUMED (BOOK 6):

All I wanted was one hot night with an alien gladiator…

Ever since the Kalixian warriors rescued us from our Orkun captors, I’ve made no secret of the fact that I think these bronze, horned aliens are hot as hell.

I have no interest in the whole “fated mate” thing, but I definitely wouldn’t mind a roll in the sheets with any of these men.

Well…one man, if I’m being honest.

Tycran.

There’s something about the stoic, gorgeous alien that draws me in—even though he’s the only one who seems completely immune to my flirtations.

I’m not sure why I’m so drawn to him, or why I’ve set my sights on the most unattainable man on Kalix. Maybe it’s because when I get a glimpse behind his stony mask, the spark of passion I see in his eyes makes my pulse pound.

I want to be the one to light that spark. I want to show him how much fun it could be to just let loose for once.

I’m playing with fire. I know that.

But maybe I want to get burned.

This binge-ready collection contains three full-length stand-alone sci-fi romance stories, featuring bronze-skinned alien warriors who will make you swoon. Each book in this thrilling and steamy series has no cliff-hanger, no cheating, and a happily ever after guaranteed!

BOUND:

Emma and Prince Khrelan - Emma was sold to aliens by her government in exchange for alien technology. Along with the other women that were sold, they were rescued by Kalixian warriors, another race of aliens, that are more humanoid. That is aside from their golden bronze skin and horns. Though Emma didn’t have a great life on Earth and was working herself to the bone for a tiny apartment and just trying to make ends meet.

So when they are taken to Kalix and put up at a fancy apartment at no charge while the prince decides what to do with the women, which is made harder by the fact that some of them have mated to Kalixians, Emma doesn’t mind at all and hopes they can stay. She likes the Kalixians she has met and it seems that the fact that some have mated to humans and at least one of the women is pregnant, this seems to be the solution that works best for both races. Especially since the Kalixian females have mostly died out.

So when Prince Khrelan asks Emma to stay at the palace in order to learn more about humans and make a more informed decision, Emma has no choice to go. She had seen the prince once before and liked how handsome and strong he was. He was orphaned at twelve and became the ruler, he can’t be crowned King until he mates.

Khrelan and Emma discover very quickly that they are fated mates. However, the prince is advised soon after that his world is in turmoil. Some of the men thinking that the females from Earth are the solution to their problems and the saviors of the race, while others think that mixing the two races dilutes their own and it is better to die out gracefully than to weaken their race by mixing with humans. So the prince is determined to stay away from Emma. Of course he can’t seem to do that no matter how hard he tries.

The book is told in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Meg Price and C.J. Grey. Meg does a good job and I actually like her ‘male’ voice better than her ‘female’ voice which sounds a tiny bit whiny. C.J. Grey is great and has a deep masculine voice which is perfect for the Prince. The story in this book wasn’t my favorite, I guess I didn’t like all the politics and the detractors. Though I loved that Prince Khrelan stands up for his woman like he does.

BROKEN:

Jade and Brele - Jade is on Earth and determined to find her friend Emma who disappeared and while looking into Jade’s disappearance, she ends up being taken captive by the Orkun warriors, similar to how Emma and the other women were abducted. She is taken as tribute to the Orkun Warlord Alkul and she fights since she is a champion MMA fighter. She is taken with Alkul on a fighter ship to a place Kalix where a war is being fought. At one point her cage opens, which leads to her attacking Alkul and the ship crashes on Kalix. She is lost in the forest on an alien planet when Brele finds her.

Brele is a cyborg and a warrior. He has been living in the forest for the past fifteen years. He was banished for being a traitor to his people after the enemy took control of his mind, leaving him unable to do anything to stop the betrayal, though his mind was still aware of everything that went on and he was unable to do anything to stop what happened. It was all made worse since he was the first born prince and heir, he would have been ruler if things were different.

Like the other books, this was narrated by C.J. Grey and Meg Price. I liked C.J. quite a bit and Meg was Ok, but I couldn’t always hear her clearly. I listened via my Alexa speaker while doing my nails and cleaning, so maybe that doesn’t come in as clearly as with my EarPods or on my iPad directly. Though I could hear C.J. fine, so there is that.

I liked the story in this one better than the last book. That one took place in the city, at the palace while this one was more of a journey, starting on Earth, then the spaceship, then Kalix. I also liked that Jade wasn’t one of the original human women who were abducted but had her own abduction story.

CONSUMED:

Lucy and Tycran - Lucy was a stripper in Las Vegas before she was sold to the Orkun warlords in exchange for alien technology. She is determined and independent and doesn’t want a fated mate like the other women, but deep down she is fooling herself and just doesn’t think she is worthy. However she has been attracted to Tycran since the Kalixians first rescued the women from the Orkun.

So Lucy finally decides she wants to hook up with Tycran, whom she has been attracted to for a while but when she goes to him, he confuses her and stalks away. Tycran is a warrior and for years has worked toward nothing but revenge against the Orkun. He has thought of nothing else and has lived to fight the enemy. He is so dedicated it is almost a religion to him. His attraction to Lucy will just get in the way, so exerts his well known control and tries to ignore it. He plans to go on a suicide mission against the Orkun, and is not happy when he finds that Lucy has stowed away.

Meg Price and C.J. Grey did the narration on this book, like the rest of the series. They did a fine job, though like I said before, I do like C.J. better than Med and she did use a kind of annoying voice when Lucy talked, but the voice for Lucy’s thoughts was better. I liked the journey in this book, there is more intrigue action and battles. I loved that Tycran was so focused and single-minded. He is a great Hero and Lucy is a spitfire.

This series is one of my favorites so far and in Broken I love Jade! She by far is my favorite character. The female narrator does a amazing job and so does the male. Very good and emotional enriched story.

Fun stories, sexy and creative

The first book is a little slow and repetitive. But the next two get better and better and book 6 is the most fun of the three. it’s the most creative and has the most action as well as good chemistry between the characters. It’s a little bit annoying to always listen to the same two narrators, I hope they get some new narrators in the series to kind of switch it up a little bit.

I’ve tried to get through the first book & keep falling asleep. It’s so frustrating. Audible, you seriously suck.
