Short and sweet! I enjoyed listening. The author did an excellent job at keeping me enthralled with the story. And it really spoke volumes with the message of the story. Anti bullying is a message we need in more young adult books and Ali Winters did such a good job of including it in the story. And the new take on the Medusa story was fun to read. I can’t wait for another audio from this author!! Oh yeah, the narrator was good also.

I liked this one. It was short, but well executed. There is just enough content to get you engaged and tell you a story. The author balances level of detail with story progression appropriate to the short length. The narration is very well done and really brought this short story to life.

I really enjoyed this version of Medusa. It gives mean girls a new name and shows you that you just need that 1 person to believe in you so that way you can believe in yourself.
The narrator does a great job.

A retelling of Medusa's fate.

while there's some bullying from a jealous HS setting fellow student the love interest isn't so this is more of a YA version of the Greek story.

Poor Medusa. This novella explains how Medusa became cursed and it is very interesting to listen to. I enjoyed it and will be looking further into this author to hopefully find more.

Favor Of The Gods by Ali Winters is a great, short read. Well written and I love the unique twist on Greek mythology. Definitely has a Mean Girls vibe to it. I always picture Medusa as the villain but after reading her pain and torment in the story, I am rooting for her and hope she gets revenge!
My only complaint, that the story was so short... I want more!!!
