Some simple steps to mindfulness,
"Stop. breathe. become aware. notice.
Breathe in slowly as deeply as you can, and hold it in for a few minutes. Now slowly exhale."
I was driving when I was listening, so I couldn't get mindful at the time of my listening to this, but if you're a debilitatingly highly sensitive person or HSP as she calls us, and you can hold your breath in for a few minutes! This may provide some relief for you.
The narration was excellent as a short fun little book.
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

This is great info for older kids, (and adults) to understand themselves and others who are very sensitive. What does Elizabeth Bloom bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I was unclear as to whether or not this book was for children or adults with sensitive children. The age group is listed at 5-7 but that's preschool age and there are a lot of big words in this book along with a disclaimer that I'm not sure preschoolers would understand. Parents be prepared to listen with your children.
I thought Elizabeth Bloom had a wonderful voice that children would enjoy listening to. She had great voice inflections and sounded like a natural storyteller.
