About this listen

There are time travellers among us. Friends and strangers who can jump from moment to moment with the power of their minds. After meeting an enigmatic outsider who guards an ancient secret, Bindra Dhar learns the art of time travel and is soon hunted by a legendary time criminal. Honing her skills, jumping through time and space as both predator and prey, she uncovers a conspiracy that could derail reality itself. Why her? Why now (if there is such a thing anymore)? Will she uphold the sacred oath of all time travellers...even if it kills her? Fellow Travellers is the Grand Prize Winner of the Great Novel Contest 2019. A surprisingly interesting story. The use of a virtual narrator is unfortunate. The narrator was a bit flat and dull.

Bad virtual narration

Hated narration. Virtual voice did a terrible job. Mispronounced a few words. Kept the same “voice” through the whole narration making it difficult to determine who was speaking. Kept the Indian accent through the whole thing even though much of the book took place in the USA with American characters. A real performer would have changed accents and given characters their own distinct voice. USE REAL PEOPLE TO NARRATE!!!!
