About this listen

Leslie and John both served in the army and crossed paths under unfortunate events. Now that they are out, they are having to re-adapt to civilian life, and it’s not as easy as what they were originally told. However, they find out how important it is to stay close with their fellow veterans who have different backgrounds and stories, but they all share one thing: Adapting to their old life as a civilian isn’t as easy as it looks.

I actually felt a little called out by the book for lack of better words. the writing helps not only as an insite into a veteran's mind but it also hits scarey close to home for people like me. once I got started on it I didn't stop listening to it till the end straight through. it is beautifully written and put together.

this is a must read for those that have combat veteran's, hell any veterans mind set at times. if you have family that's been through hell on the civilian side it will help alot there also.

Betsy Ross I can't wait to get the rest of the series when I can. And for the love of God don't stop you have a fan for life!!

you need to read!! 10 stars

This book packs a powerful punch as it skillfully details the often overlooked aspects of PTSD. The author brings this issue to light and respectfully crafts a great story. A must read for all those that have served and those that haven’t. More efforts like this need to be made to help those that have sacrificed it all.

A powerful look into the mind of veterans
